RIVERFRONT SUMMER DANCE

Riverfront Summer Dance is Independent Ballet Wales’ summer workshop programme based at The Riverfront Theatre in Newport.
Now in its 4th year at the venue the course was again a huge success.
At the end of the first week 62 students performed on the Riverfront Stage and another 60-70 students are due to take part in this week’s programme of workshops.
Taking part in the Advanced Ballet Course in week 2 were 4 graduates from Central School of Ballet, 2 pupils of The Elmhurst School (Attached to Birmingham Royal Ballet) and one Welsh pupil currently in his 7th year of training at The Royal Ballet School in London.
“There are hundreds of ballet courses during the summer but this is the best because it’s such a brilliant opportunity to work with an outstanding professional company”.
